I’d all but given up on generic cartridges, having made the mistake early on by allowing the firmware in my printer to self-update, generic cartridges uniformly wouldn’t work any more. Then I tried Smart Ink. Priced just a little higher than the lowest price brand, still a fraction of the Manufacturer price, these are well made, have not leaked a drop, come with disposable vinyl gloves to wear in case the cartridges coming out are leaking (damn ink does NOT come off skin), and in 3 brands in 2 locations of printers, so far the Smart Ink has never failed to install correctly, work correctly, outsmart the generic firmware blockers, and are the ONLY brand I will purchase from now on.
