Paper probably makes as much difference as the ink. If you want to cheap out on the ink, I would recommend getting heavy weight paper as it provides both an image and feel improvement that can hide any ink inconsistencies.

Took a step out of my comfort zone and ordered this set for my Epson printer. I am so beyond pleased with this purchase. First and foremost it was shipped in the original box! Not a box within a box filled with plastic bubbles and paper and then placed inside another box. Just so little was wasted for this shipment and I am all about that. Secondly, the instructions included are so simple to follow AND it includes follow up steps for trouble shooting. How neat is that?! The setup was so smooth and my printer accepted it and did a test print so satification. The price for two sets of cartridges is very attractive but I will not know if the life of the cartridge is worth it just yet. I will update this review if I come along any problems but I am currently a happy customer
